The warranty is confined to the first purchaser of the company products only and is non-transferable. The warranty service is limited to Repair or replacement of the product & is on the sole discretion of the company. Proof of purchase is required to be presented for availing any warranty services.
Rules:
  • The warranty can be claimed only once within the warranty period. The warranty period is for 1 year and begins on the date of purchase mentioned on the invoice. To avail the warranty, the customer must register for warranty within 10 days of the receipt of the product.
  • If the product is found to be defective by the service team, we shall send a new or refurbished item. Please note that the new/refurbished item may/may not be in original Kite packaging but it shall be defect-free and inspected and approved by our team. If the product is found to be defective, we shall send back the same product after inspecting, cleaning and repacking.
  • This limited warranty is only valid in India, and the product is not eligible for any international warranty service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, warranty service may only be performed by Kite or Kite authorized service centres.
  • The company may conduct diagnostic tests on customers’ products to identify the causes of failures/defects.
  • The company will determine whether a product is “Out of Warranty” at the company’s discretion according to the standards listed below. Repair of “Out of Warranty” products shall be separately quoted by Kite Lifestyle service centre and respective service shall be provided upon service fee payment.
  • The warranty shall automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period (as determined by the proof of purchase), even if the product may not be in use for anytime during the warranty period for any reason.
  • Unfortunately, there are some websites and dealers who claim to be authorised Kite Lifestyle resellers but they are not. Products sold on these websites or from these dealers do not carry a warranty from Kite Lifestyle. When you purchase products from an unauthorised website or dealer you are taking a risk, because these products may be counterfeit, used or defective. Please protect yourself and your Kite Lifestyle product by ensuring that you only purchase Kite Lifestyle products from an authorized source.
What is covered under warranty?
  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship of the product. This warranty applies when the product is used under normal conditions and the purpose for which the product was designed.
  • Products that arrived with missing parts or accessories
What is not covered under warranty?
  • Products purchased from unauthorised resellers.
  • Lost or stolen products, free products
  • Products damaged from Intentional physical damage or customer induced damage, such as self-repairs, exposure to water, damage caused by misuse, alternation, failure to comply with product manual, and so on.
  • Invalid warranty
  • Expired warranty
  • Products damaged due to natural wear & tear, usage under extreme conditions, damage due to improper care (accident, misuse or negligence) and damage caused by acts of God such as but not restricted to floods, fires or earthquakes.
  • Sound Characteristics (Sound is a subjective matter and is not warranted)
  • Non quality related issue.
  • Minor faults in the quality of a product which do not affect the product’s value or technical condition.
  • Any modification of Kite Products made by the consumer or any third party.
